Afghanistan News24: Iranian President Masoud Peshkeshian has said that he is deeply grateful for Pakistan’s support against Israeli aggression.
The Iranian President began his speech during a joint press conference with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif with a verse from the Quran and emphasized the unity of the nation. He said that he is grateful to the Prime Minister and the Pakistani nation for their hospitality, Pakistan is our second home, and we had a fruitful discussion with Pakistan’s scholars and political leadership.
He said that he is deeply grateful for Pakistan’s support against Israeli aggression. In the present era, there is a dire need for unity of the Muslim Ummah. Relations between Pakistan and Iran are based on a common culture and religion, and the poetry of Allama Iqbal is also a guiding light for us.
The Iranian President said that good relations with Pakistan are an important part of Iran’s foreign policy, and bilateral relations are being advanced in various dimensions.
He said that Israel is pursuing an agenda of destabilizing the region, adding that regional peace and development are closely linked.
