Afghanistan News24: Mir Yar Baloch, in his recent political statements, has once again claimed that Balochistan is not a part of Pakistan, but rather possesses a separate historical, political, and geographical identity.
He stated that the question of authority over Balochistan’s land and coastal areas has long remained at the center of intense political disputes, historical grievances, and unresolved conflicts. According to him, the current structure of governance does not fully reflect the will and political rights of the local population.
He further emphasized that Balochistan holds significant geopolitical importance in the region due to its strategic location, and control over its long coastline along the Arabian Sea carries crucial economic and maritime significance for future regional developments.
Mir Yar Baloch also claimed that if Balochistan were granted full political and administrative autonomy, it could play an important and influential role in international trade routes, maritime economy, and regional transit networks.
He further stated that approximately 60 million Baloch people stand alongside Afghanistan. This claim has not been independently verified, and no official responses from relevant authorities or independent sources have been issued regarding these statements so far.
