Afghanistan News24: The Baloch Liberation Group has claimed that it has established a new naval wing called the “Hammal Maritime Defence Force.” According to the group, this step is part of a broader strategy to expand its operational reach into maritime areas.
The group further claims that the newly formed naval wing carried out its first operation on April 12, 2026, near Jiwani in the coastal region of Gwadar. It alleges that a Pakistan Navy patrol boat was targeted in the attack, resulting in the deaths of three naval personnel.
