Human Rights Commission of Pakistan issues serious warning to government

Afghanistan News24: The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, urging the government to move beyond verbal condemnations and take concrete and effective measures.

The commission stated that the rising incidents of insecurity across various parts of both provinces are posing a serious threat to public life, public spaces, and overall social stability.

HRCP emphasized that the government must take steps that ensure the protection of citizens and strengthen the rule of law in the country.

It further noted that official statements and declarations alone are not sufficient to address the ongoing security challenges, stressing the need for practical and sustained policy actions to improve the situation.
