Afghanistan News24: The head of Türkiye’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT), Ibrahim Kalin, and Qatar’s National Security Council Secretary-General, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Misnad, have travelled to Kabul.
According to reports, the two senior officials held separate meetings with a number of high-ranking Afghan officials.
The meetings reportedly focused on relations and cooperation between Afghanistan and the two countries, as well as key regional issues.
Reports indicate that Kalin also met separately with Afghanistan’s acting Minister of Defense, Mullah Mohammad Yaqoob, Acting Minister of Interior Sirajuddin Haqqani, and intelligence chief Abdul Haq Wasiq.
No further official details have so far been released regarding the agenda or outcomes of the meetings.
